Three towers in one place – this is a unique sight on the German Baltic Sea coast. Enjoy the magnificent view from the lighthouse and the former radio monitoring tower.
Explore the north of the island of Rügen with its historic castle wall from the Slavic period, the small fishing village of Vitt and its octagonal chapel, and the former naval bunkers from GDR times. From the central car park in Putgarten, visitors can start a circular route, past the Rügenhof, and do so individually on foot, by bicycle, by small train, or by horse-drawn carriage.

The diverse music program of our radio offers an abundance of different genres – Top Hits, Pop, Rock, and Dance to name a few. If you can name it, we have it. (Something for everyone´s taste!)
The names of the playlists are inspired by the beautiful landscape on Kap Arkona – hence the names for them such as ‘Nordstrand’, Veilchentreppe’, Gellort’……

One of the sunniest places in Germany
According to the German Weather Service (DWD), Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is one of the sunniest German states, with about 1750 hours of sunshine. With only around 628 liters/qm it is also deened one of the lowest in terms of precipitation, so it is perfect for a vacation filled with sun, sandcastles and laughter.
